Assistant Manager – Research and Evaluation
Isabella joined CIRCA in 2021 and has worked across a number of projects for state and federal government, non-government organizations, and for-profit clients. These projects have ranged in topic across health and wellbeing, social cohesion, work rights, education, and more. Isabella brings to her work a wealth of experience in project management, research and evaluation planning and design, interview facilitation, and data analysis and reporting.
During university, Isabella spent a year studying in Argentina and completed her thesis on the rise of informal labour among marginalised groups during a time of economic unrest, before holding a research role at the Centre for Social Impact at the University of New South Wales, where she focused on program evaluation and outcomes measurement. In her work, Isabella strives to address systematic social inequality through outcomes measurement and an understanding of how complex systems and programs work. Her deep interest in exploring and understanding different ways of life and the significance of culture is weaved into the way she approaches all work.
Isabella was also a researcher for Australia’s first Social Progress Index – a tool that measures how well the states and territories of Australia are providing for the basic human needs, foundations of wellbeing, and opportunities of its citizens. Isabella has a combined bachelor’s degree in Communications and International Studies from the University of Technology Sydney, where she majored in Social Inquiry and Latin American Studies
