Carla has extensive experience working for social inclusion with government agencies and NGOs and is very focused on culturally and linguistically diverse communities and migration issues.

Originally from Spain, Carla moved to Australia in 2016. Before making the big move and settling here, her love for travelling and learning from other cultures took her to live in different cities like Lima (PerĂº), Lisbon (Portugal), Madrid, and Barcelona (Spain).

Carla’s academic background is a combination of Law and Social and Cultural Anthropology, a result of her interest and curiosity in cultural diversity and social justice.

Having developed her expertise over the past year in areas such as human rights, cross-cultural communication, conflict resolution, and equality and non-discrimination, she is now excited to apply that expertise and experience at CIRCA.

Carla is passionate about working in multicultural environments with people who want to impact our society positively and loves to collaborate, communicate and bond. She has found CIRCA to be the perfect place to develop her skills further and work with the team to help them continue to deliver CIRCA’s research projects seamlessly and to the highest quality.
