As India celebrated its 76th Independence Day, we at CIRCA and the Cultural Perspectives Group came together to be part of this celebration with our Indian colleagues. We tasted unique and less-known foods from different parts of India and couldn’t help but notice the immense diversity that India possesses, from its aromatic cuisine to its people, languages, cultures, religions, and ethnicities.
Let’s take a moment to appreciate the strength that comes from this diversity and pledge to foster an environment of respect and inclusion. Whether it’s the festivals we celebrate, the languages we speak, or the cuisines we savour, each thread in our cultural fabric deserves respect and recognition.
