CIRCA was engaged by Kantar Public to work on a project to understand people’s feelings, attitudes and behaviours in relation to specific areas of social cohesion in Australia among diverse CALD communities
To collect the information, four focus groups were conducted with Cantonese-, Mandarin-, Vietnamese- and Arabic-speaking participants in their language by bilingual facilitators from the same cultural background as the participants. The groups had between 6 and 9 participants each, with a mix of genders and people from different states and territories.
CIRCA provided Kantar Public with a top-line report of key insights and findings from the focus groups. The research will inform ongoing departmental policy and program outcomes.
