Ly is a consultant and mixed-methods researcher, with extensive experience leading research and evaluation projects for international and national organisations.

Ly has been working in research and evaluation since 2015 for a number of international and national organisations, including The World Bank Group, CSIRO, Restless Development, and leading Australian universities. Her work spans diverse geographies, having worked and studied in Australia, Vietnam, the UK, and Germany.

Ly has a PhD in Digital Health, where she developed and evaluated cutting-edge technologies aimed at improving health behaviours and preventing chronic diseases. Ly’s research has influenced global policies, including those of the World Health Organisation, and public health agencies in Europe and Australia.

Since joining CIRCA in 2023, Ly has worked with government, non-profit and corporate clients, to address complex challenges across health, public policies, sexual violence, and other critical areas. Ly is a dualist researcher, leveraging quantitative and qualitative methods to provide comprehensive insights and actionable solutions.

As a Vietnamese immigrant, Ly’s personal journey in Australia drives her commitment to addressing social inequities and championing the wellbeing of diverse communities. At CIRCA, Ly leverages her expertise in evidence-based methods and project management to address research and evaluation inquiries with a culturally sensitive lens, ensuring that underrepresented perspectives are heard and valued.
